Hi there!

I'm researching the Gooderham family tree, and have got as far as John Gooderam (SIC) born in 1752, and who married a Lydia. He lived in Tharston, Norfolk.

I would much appreciate any further info on him and his ancestors!

Hi Ben,
I don't personally have any knowledge of the particular John Gooderam you mention. Did the family move to, or have any links with Suffolk at any point? Particularly the area around Eye, Mellis and Braiseworth?

There's about 16 miles distance between Tharston and the areas of Suffolk you mention, so I'm assuming there's some link there, as Gooderham isn't a very popular name.

If I could trace John Gooderam's roots, I may be able to find the link!

I think you're right. I would be very suprised if there wasn't a link between your John Gooderam and some of the Gooderham's in my tree. I'll certainly be keeping an eye out for him and will post back in the future if I spot anything relevant.
